Tear to Wear

The collection Tear to Wear Includes 3 outfits, that require the wearer to rip them open before they can be worn. This initial struggle to open the fabric initiates a personal connection, as the imperfections created by ripping become an integral part of the garment’s character. This process is central to Tear to Wear, emphasizing the unpredictable and inevitable nature of wear in everything close and dear to us. It is essential to form a deeper relationship with the things we wear, highlighting our unique stories and how these objects play special roles in them.

In the unwearable platform, the consumer does not have to invest in these designed items, but they are shared. The items are available to anyone who is interested and wants to subscribe to the platform. Instead of buying the identity of a capitalised company, you give the garment its own identity by wearing the garment. The garments are interpreted and implemented by the wearer who puts a unique twist on the garment every time. This makes the story of the garment and the story of the brand as a whole “Unwearable”.

Rent designer clothes that fuse with your identity. Loc al system, sharing identity, style, and events.

OUR SHIFT

OUR SHIFT is a fashion brand based in Copenhagen, created by Milan Flíček and Barbora Surá. Together with them and the rest of the team, OUR SHiift put together the ss24 collection, including the outfits above. OUR SHIFT is a protest fashion brand, which means they try to address big problems in the fashion industry regarding the impact fashion has on the climate. All the materials in the collection are upcycled. OUR SHIFT has a focus on festival culture and tries to get most materials from discarded festival tents. The collection was themed around Czechoslovak Spartakiada.
